CHARITY EVENTS
Josh Marris likes to support a good cause when he sees one.
In September 2011, following his mothers diagnosis with breast cancer, Josh completed a personal challenge to play 10 rounds of golf in 24 hours raising $5000 for the cancer research at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research.
As a trainee professional at the Royal Queensland Golf Club, Josh organised and coordinated two trainee pro-am events in 2009 and 2010. Both events received high praise from his peers and after the success of the first event, Josh decided that the 2010 event would help raise funds for the AGL Rescue Helicopter Service on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The event was also a success raising over $5000 for the cause.
Over the years, Josh has also shaved his head several times in the Leukemia 'Shave for a Cure' and taken part in many charity golf events.
If you have a charity event that you would like Josh to take part in, please direct your enquiry to Management via the Contacts page.
